“So What do You Know about Senegal?”

Let me first begin by saying, “Thank you”, of all the people that visit Senegal every year, you’ve taken the steps to learn more about this beautiful African country.

It means you know that learning about the people and the customs of a country is absolutely vital if you want to have a wonderful, phenomenal time there.

My Name is Dave and I'm a native of senegal (The Country of Hospitality); this means I've lived in here pretty much all my life.

This African country is French speaking; hence, only a small fraction of the population speaks english fluently.

I bet you've realized by now the sad fact that most of the websites that are about this unique country are written in French.

That observation lead me to create a website that would be entirely written in English; consequently, Senegal-Guide.Com was born :)

So,

Here's What I Got:

-A website entirely written in English describing the 'Country of Hospitaly' from a native's point of view, and giving away travel tips.

Here's What It'll do For You:

-You will learn about the country and you will have a broad Idea of what to expect when you go there.

-You will be able to connect with people from Sunugal more easily, whether you are just visiting, or maybe you just know or live with people that are from there.

-If you plan to pay us a visit, you will learn about accomodations and things to do; this will ensure that you will have a wonderful time during your stay.

Here's What I Want You To Do Next:

Just go through the website, feed your curiosity, and have fun!

If you've been the 'Country Of Teranga' before, please share some stories of your travels and experiences.

I'm sure other visitors to the website will be glad to hear from you.

A Quick SideNote:

This website portrays the Country Of Hospitality from my point of view, so if you are looking for statistics and GDP and such, you will not find it here.

I recommend wikipedia, or an encyclopedia for such information.

However, if you want to have just enough information to feel confident enough to visit us;

and end up having a great time in a peaceful African country, then this website is for you!

If you want some truly unique information that can't be found anywhere on the internet...send me an email! I'd be glad to answer your questions :)

I feel that the more information you have, the more confident and ready you will be to visit us.

I hope you'll find the advices I give useful. In the future, I will update some pages with pictures, and add some cool new little features to the website...
